With-Profits Investments are collective investment funds, usually managed by insurance companies or mutual societies - 'pooled' investments in which the policyholder shares in the company’s profit.
These investment vehicles are intended to provide savers with access to stock market investment at lower risk.
The target of with-profits is to give somewhat cautious investors a “taste of the stock market”, without excessive risk.
